At Buddha Dharma University, students are encouraged to wake up to their true nature while developing skills in deep, critical thinking as well as compassion and abiding love for all beings. This is accomplished through engagement in academic study, contemplative practice, service to others, and the creative arts. Given this, please tell us in an essay how you are prepared to participate in this distinctive community and how your life and educational goals would be reached by attending Buddha Dharma University. If you are applying directly into a particular degree, please make sure your essay addresses your experience and interest in this field.
